Did you read the talk I gave y’all? Did you listen to conference? Wasn’t it great?!
Here is something my amazing mission President sent to us:
“Conference weekend is always a blessing. It is a wonderful opportunity to fill our cups. How can you walk away from such an experience and without feeling it is a privilege to serve the Lord? How can you walk away from Conference without feeling empowered and ready to face the [world] with courage and new found wisdom? What a blessing to witness the calling and sustaining of three new Apostles.”
I encourage you all to read and truly STUDY the talks given at conference. “Ponderize” them, and the scriptures, and it will be such a great next six months until the next conference!
Little update on life here in Huntsville:
-I sent Hermana Torres to her home in Utah. It’s so crazy when a companion dies. You never think it will happen to you. I feel that I will be here forever, and it’s amazing!
-We were calling contacts in the phone that we didn’t know and a hispanic named Victor answered. We set up a time to meet, we met, and now he has been reading the Book of Mormon and he called us to set up a time to meet!
-Our awesome investigator named Melanie disappeared! We don’t know where she is or how to get in contact with her. But we are praying and fasting that we, or other missionaries, will get in contact with her so she can continue to progress toward baptism.
-This is gonna be a great transfer! I was with Hermana Acosta for only a week 6 months ago, and now I’m with her again!
-All the Spanish Speaking sisters were at transfers, so we had to take a picture!
-We went to a mexican/american wedding. So fun!
-Hermana Acosta and I!
