That means “a bed under a car”. What a crazy story that was! We got a call on Wednesday from a less active member and her sister. They needed help moving so we called the Elders and went to the rescue! It was pretty wet and rainy outside but we were just hauling everything out of the apartment very hectic-scetic and throwing in the truck and minivan. My comp and I had to leave and as we turned onto the main road we such a bunch of police cars around a car. As we got closer we saw a huge mattress jammed up underneath a car! We realized it was one of the mattresses that we had helped move out! Oh the things that happen.
This week was pretty good, but then, what weeks aren’t? We did a lot of finding and have some new investigators. We met a family from Peru and their two sons are really interested in the church and what it’s all about. The two older sons came to Futbol at the church so that was good, now we have to get them to come on Sunday! We also taught this family that told us they wouldn’t have let us in the door at first, but because we were smiling and nice we were able to teach them the Restoration and they invited us back for lunch!!! Whooohoo The Gospel is great and being a missionary is really the greatest thing.
We didn’t have any investigators at church this Sunday, but two young less active families/part member families came to church!!! It was great to see some of the fruit of our labors with some of God’s precious children. I know that He cares about each one of us and wants us to be happy.
I hope you have a great week! I love you all! Thanks for sending pictures, I love seeing all your smiling faces:) Stay strong and read this great scripture: Alma 7:7-9 We are given the strength to do what we need. We can help others as we prepare for Christ’s second coming. “Yo se que vive mi Senor, consuelo es poder saber..” What an amazing knowledge we have of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.
